 MOST STUNNING LAKE IN TANZANIA Tanzania lakes are very diverse in nature with some being freshwater lakes and others being inhospitable soda lakes playing host to flamingos. With Tanzania having many lakes some can be incorporated into a safari itinerary with others rarely being visited or having very low tourists visiting them all year round. Featured as one of the longest freshwater bodies in the world, the second deepest, and largest by volume on earth, and by age its at least 3 million years old and is an outlet for more than 50 rivers. On sight, it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world with crystal clear waters with steep jungle mountains on either side of the Rift Valley.
